Artist Spotlight: imnotwordy

What can I say about my friend, Wordy? He is a ball of energy and always brings those positive vibes. Wordy and I met in the Solana space, both learning the ropes and finding our feet.

To this day, we have remained close, sharing ideas, rollout plays and collaborating on some exciting up-and-coming things. I usually give the alpha away, but I'll stay quiet today.

I asked Wordy to give me a short bio; this is what he wrote.

"Wordy like his bananas in 24k gold".

This is just a taste of the fun and lighthearted interview to come, so, without further delay, I’ll pass it over to Wordy; let's dig in.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself?

I'm quite boring, I don't like being realistic, not a big fan of shopping, I need to move away from Sweden to a warmer country, I don't do any fun drugs, and I prefer being home alone with my cat than hang with my cool friends.

The best thing about me is that I still have all my teeth! In my mouth. Not in a box.

2. How do you get into your creative zone?

I find chocolate mixed with energy drinks is my go-to before starting a long creative session. It really helps get my focus and happiness on point. It also gets me running to the toilet a few times, which is good for cardio.

3. When in the flow, what does your process look like?

Usually, I have thought about an idea or two or 100 before sitting down. Most times, I have an entire series on my mind, so the process of making a grid for cohesiveness is number one on the list. From there, I start going a little bit crazy and trying out a couple of things to see what comes out of it, and then I pick the pieces I like. Once I have those, I need to solve a design puzzle of bringing it all together.

4. Tell us about your Esther piece?

I wanted to bring Esther into a much darker and more chaotic world. So I did my glitch style and tried it out. Think it worked out pretty well! Might do more in the future...

5. What are you most excited about in web3?

The money! 100%! The money I will spend on all these NFTs...

6. What's the most significant learning experience you've had in web3?

The early web3 supporters are very supportive of each other. I thought it would be a war of being first, the best and beating everyone else. But it seems we are so few and the ones in here just want to help get web3 going for real. Love that!

Wordy, thank you for the ongoing support and friendship; it's been so much fun to get to know you over the months. If you haven't already, check out Wordy on Twitter, he is dropping pure banana gold, 24 carrot.
