Playful books that encourage kids’ imaginations whilst improving their mental & emotional resilience. Our goal is to unlock 500 published books that will be donated to schools, families and reach partners.
About the campaign
Children need to be able to cope with challenges and changes in their lives as they learn to flourish. Esther serves as both a magical protagonist and a foil for discussions about imagination, mental health and social skills. Her stories empower parents and other caretakers to meet children in a fun narrative space. The world of Esther’s Escape acknowledges that it is just as healthy to process your smallest feelings as to dream your biggest dreams.
Stories are powerful windows through which people can gain perspective on their struggles, victories, and dreams. Working in tandem with imagination, a purposeful story can open doors in a child’s mind that might otherwise remain shut as they learn to thrive despite all manner of developmental hurdles.
Enter Esther. Esther is on a journey of self-discovery. As we dive into her world, teachable moments are uncovered and fostered between children, caregivers and teachers. Esther's stories aim to help children (8- to 11-years-old) learn to understand themselves and others as they build meaningful relationships.
Campaign goal
We aim to publish this inaugural story as a children's picture novel and distribute it for free to as many parties as possible. This is just the first step in our mission to help children develop their social skills by crafting stories into purposeful children's content. We plan to produce a variety of printed, audio and animated content in the future.
Once our book is published, the first 500 copies will help us:
Open conversations with potential partners
Create an opportunity to donate books to schools
Offer free copies to families and independent educators
Give to collectors who pre-buy
Giving our first batch of books away will expand our reach and get Esther into the hands of as many people as possible, capturing people's hearts with our message, storytelling and unique style along the way.
Short-Term to Long-Term Goals
Our ambition is to craft Esther’s world into an intellectual property that takes its place among creative giants like Bluey, The Wiggles, Adventure Time and Pokemon, among many others.
